1001 Covington Drive is one of 3 Albert Kahn buildings in Detroit designed for multi-unit, multi-family dwellings. 1001 Covington Drive was designed for Detroit Tigers athletes and their families; today it is home to a range of professionals and artists who enjoy the proximity to Palmer Park, a Frederick Law Olmsted-designed park. The design vision was accurate historic restoration where possible, and in spaces that had been completely neglected, a clean modern canvas for new owners to make their own.
